so there is apparently yet another winter storm coming this way. i guess its currently wreaking havoc in the midwest right now. i already have a bunch of classes cancelled for this week and i have to say i'm not really happy about it. its soooo boring here sometimes! going to and from class kills time. now, on top of other homework and stuff, i have more stuff to get done. tonight i'm gonna go stock up on ramen and soup and other food so if its really bad tomorrow, i can stay inside all day and be fine.
so i shall be purchasing the following:
chicken ramen (3)
tomato soup (2)
juice bottles (2)
hummus&pretzel combo thingy (2)
saltines (1)
various candy (a lot haha)
NyQuil (1)
DayQuil (1)
--those are because every single time theres a snowstorm my persistent, never-ending cold gets ten times worse wahhhhh
and then i'll get starbucks, of course =)
hopefully the rest of you prepare yourselves accordingly.. get out the flashlights and blankets to bundle up and non perishable goods and books (in case the tv goes out, or just because reading is awesome). maybe it will be a good time to finally clean your dorm, get a jump start on reading for class, or really get to know the people you get snowed in with. hey, this could be kinda fun!

- i'm samantha, i'm 20 going on 21 and i am a junior English major, but im not here to use proper grammar. im athletic but i also love to write and figured a blog would be a good way to keep up with writing and also help get my thoughts out in a constructive way. i have a lot of opinions about society, especially how i think humanity is suffering because of the "gimme generation" (details on that later). i write mostly poetry but also dabble in prose and want to get into short fiction and all that jazz..hope someone finds this interesting!
